Casting hubs are more commonly used on economical cars, such as household fuel vehicles and new energy electric vehicles.

The process is stable and mature, and can be mechanized in large quantities, which can reduce manufacturing costs. The design and manufacturing are flexible. Various shapes can be designed and manufactured according to customer needs, and have good shock absorption and heat dissipation performance.

Characteristics of Spinning Hubs

Spinning hubs are a production process improved on the basis of casting. First, a hub prototype is formed by low-pressure casting, and then the rim of the hub is rotated and extruded by the spinning equipment. The internal state of the hub is changed by adding pressure, which can effectively improve the strength and toughness of the hub, and the quality is lighter, but the price is higher than that of cast hubs. Spinning wheels are mostly used for the modification of mid-to-high-end cars and some high-performance cars.
